It will not catch 2,3, or 4th gear. goes from 1st to 5th and then the tow/haul light blinks. basically limp mode. I hooked up to a scanner and it says its not getting power to solenoid pack.

Did you look at your gauges when the CEL came on? If your trans temp gauge pegged, then it is likely that temp sensor. If it was not, then you really need to get the truck on a good scan ... When tranny computer is confused by any one of several parameters, (throttle position, rpm, speed, load, torque, battery disco....) it will go into a "limp home" mode and flash t/h.
